Yes. Well behaved dogs are welcome on a leash with their owner. Please clean up after your pet promptly. Disruptive dogs will be asked to leave. Dogs are not allowed in the pools.
This is a rain, snow or shine event. Before race day, Boulder County law enforcement can postpone the event if weather makes the roads unsafe. If that happens, every registered participant is emailed straight away. If the event is postponed and you cannot attend, you can transfer your entry to someone else. We cannot offer refunds.
We do not offer refunds, but there is no charge to transfer your entry to another person. Log in to Events.com, choose Manage Registration, then Transfer Entry.
Yes. You pay the difference if the new category costs more. Log in to Events.com (or click Manage Order in your confirmation email), click View Order, then Manage Registration and Change Registration. Enter your details, pay if needed and click Submit Order.
Yes, up until June 11 for $20. Click Manage Order in your confirmation email (you will set a password the first time you log in to Events.com), click Manage Registration, choose Edit Info from the dropdown, pick the shipping item, pay and click Submit Order. You will get a new confirmation email.
Cyclists must be 10 years old on event day. Runners can be 6 and up. There are discounted entries for kids.
Sorry, the schedule does not allow it. They start too close together. The Run / Bike Combo pairs the 5 mile run with the 50K ride instead.
Yes. Have them bring a photo of your ID and your registration confirmation email with the QR code. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian can pick up your packet.

Yes, all courses are chip timed. The bike events are Rules of the Road events. All traffic laws must be obeyed. Anyone breaking traffic laws will have their bib removed and be disqualified.
Yes. There is an 11:30am cut off at the entrance to Rowena for the 100K Gravel Enduro. If you reach this point after the cut off, you turn around and head down Lefthand Canyon.
Most riders finish the 50K gravel course in 1.5 to 3 hours. The 100K gravel course takes 3.5 to 7 hours. The 56.5 mile Road Rally takes 3.5 to 5 hours. The 5 mile run takes 30 minutes to 1 hour, and you are welcome to walk it.
Riders must wear a helmet. Bring proper riding gear including full finger gloves and a wind jacket. Pack a swimsuit or a change of clothes so you can enjoy the pools and sauna after.
You will see everything from road bikes to mountain bikes. Because the course has gravel, we recommend tires at least 25mm wide. Knobby tread helps with traction. Gravel and cyclocross bikes are the most common, but on a dry day a road bike with wide tires might be faster. You will get the most high fives on a fat bike.
Yes, you are welcome to ride an ebike, but your time will not be eligible for prizes. You also cannot use an ebike to help another rider get a better time.
Yes. Each team gets a 10ft x 10ft space for a tent right by the start and finish line. Bring your gear in a wagon so you do not have to carry it across the venue. There is also a drop off spot close to the start.
Lock your bike up at the venue or at your car. There is time between the run and the ride, so you can go to your car or use the restroom to change. The transition is not timed.
You get one bib that says Combo. Use it for both the run and the ride. We give you pins and twist ties for this.
